GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS This rental agreement is made under the standard and legal conditions applicable to such matters, including the following, which the tenant undertakes to comply with, under penalty of all damages and even termination of this agreement, if the landlord so desires, and without the right to claim a reduction in rent. a) Arrival times are normally from 3:00 p.m. Departure times are normally before 10:00 a.m. b) If a delay of more than two days from the scheduled arrival date has not been reported by the tenant, the landlord may, by law, attempt to re-let the accommodation while retaining the right to take action against the tenant. c) Obligation to occupy the premises personally, to live there "as a responsible person," and to maintain them. All installations are in working order, and any complaints regarding them arising more than 24 hours after taking possession of the premises will not be accepted. Repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance during the rental period will be the tenant's responsibility. The tenant is obligated to ensure that the peace and quiet of the neighborhood are not disturbed by the actions of the tenant or their family. d) The premises are rented furnished with kitchen equipment, dishes, glassware, blankets, and pillows. If necessary, the landlord or their representative will be entitled to claim from the tenant, upon departure, the cost of cleaning the rented premises (set at a flat rate of €50), the full replacement value of any broken, cracked, chipped, or damaged objects, furniture, or equipment, and any items whose wear and tear exceeds normal for the rental period, the cost of cleaning any blankets returned dirty, and compensation for any damage of any kind to curtains, wallpaper, ceilings, rugs, carpets, windows, bedding, etc. ... e) The landlord undertakes to insure the property against rental risks on behalf of the tenant, who is required to notify the landlord within 24 hours of any damage occurring in the property, its outbuildings, or accessories. f) The tenant may not object to an inspection of the premises upon request from the landlord or their representative. g) Parties and events are prohibited in the property.
